Happy New Year, adventurers! As 2025 begins tomorrow, I’m excited to share that Shadows of Elysium: Darkbound is continuing to grow and evolve. This year will bring new updates, features, and exciting developments to make the world of Elysium even more immersive.

My focus for 2025 is on refining gameplay, expanding the story, and ensuring the best possible experience for all of you. Your support means everything, and I’m looking forward to sharing more progress as we move through the year. My hope is to have the world itself complete by the end of Q2 2025, and the story itself done by the end of Q4 2025, but I know things can happen so I will not set these in stone. but I hope you all will join me for the ride.

Here’s to a fantastic 2025 filled with adventure and discovery. Stay tuned, and may your journey through Elysium be unforgettable!

I know this is one of my shorter logs, but I wanted to do something for you all. I took a small break after Christmas to kinda relax (dealing with M.D.D, G.A.D and CPTSD is a hard life.) and try to think of more ideas for the game. Being the sole developer of this game is rough even with the help of AI.

Further more, I'm opening this project to others to help. This project has become too big for one dev, so if you would like to help out as a tester, map maker, etc. Please feel free to DM me or reach out to nuippigrimfur@gmail.com and we'll work something out. Sadly due to no income I'm unable to pay anyone but if someone buys the game I'll be happy sharing a portion of the money.
