When Gods Laugh, Mortals Cry - v.6.0.0
(WARNING YOU WILL NEED TO START A NEW SAVE!)
Greetings Adventurers and Merry Christmas!
Gather close, for reality has been rewritten. v.6.0.0 isn’t just an update—it’s a divine event horizon where ambition collides with madness, and only the brave (or foolish) will dare cross the line. This isn’t just about new content. This is about celestial towers, secret rooms, and a piano that may or may not summon something. Oh, and for the cheaters out there? Let’s just say your save files are… optional.
This is Shadows of Elysium: Darkbound at its most unhinged. I’ve brought gods to their knees, shattered a few universes (oops), and added more fourth-wall-breaking madness than anyone asked for. Let’s dive into the chaos, shall we?
Divine (and Completely Ridiculous) Additions
- Solara’s Trial: A divine labyrinth designed to destroy your brain and test your patience. Think you can handle puzzles, traps, and divine glory? Spoiler: You can’t. But hey, give it a shot anyway, and say hi to Solara, Goddess of Light for me. (No traps or Puzzles but I'm trying here)
- City in the Sky: A place where angels roam and gravity doesn’t matter. Battle your way to God Warrior Skoll, who will remind you why gods don’t play fair.
- God’s Beacon: A celestial landmark with secrets so heavy, they might just collapse your inventory.
- The Gauntlet: Face the Legendary Knights in a series of fights so brutal, even we feel bad for you. Okay, maybe not.
Secret Shenanigans (A.K.A., Things You Shouldn’t Touch but Will Anyway)
- Supporter Home Surprises: A piano that does… something. I’m not telling you what, but it’s there, it’s beautiful, and it’s 100% your problem now.
- Temporary placeholder NPCs for J.E. and S.M., because supporters deserve love, even in their WIP forms.
Secret Room Madness:
- Added a new NPC who breaks the fourth wall like a wrecking ball. Expect sarcasm, meta commentary, and just a touch of existential dread.
- Oh, and this NPC has a secret boss designed to ruin your life. Enjoy.
Epic Reworks (Because Even Chaos Needs Polish)
- Treant and Dragon Fights: Rebalanced for more dramatic, heart-pounding encounters. (You’re welcome. Or sorry. Depends on how it goes.)
- Zetharos Fix: He’s no longer pretending to be a Dragon. He’s back to being the Blackknight you deserve to fear.
- Loumy Quest Polish: Now even smoother, so you can focus on deciding whether to help or abandon her (we’re not judging).
- Nyxara Tweaks: Fixed her event logic so she’s properly terrifying. Oh yeah, I renamed Ethyrya, Goddess of Death to Nyxara, Goddess of Death. (I'm still in the game don't worry)
Other Notes (Because Why Not?)
- Knight Lucas Joins the Fray: He’s got blue mithril armor (well, not yet, that was an oversight before deployment)
- Meta Content Galore: Fourth-wall breaks, reality-bending surprises, and more ways to make you question your existence.
- Accidentally obliterated a universe. (Hey, nobody’s perfect.)
- Played chess with God. Lost. Twice.
- Destroyed reality again. (This is becoming a habit.)
Bug Fixes (Because Even Chaos Needs Maintenance)
- Polished dialogue for the King, Queen, Princess, Prince, and other NPCs. They’re regal, eloquent, and possibly judging you.
- Fixed Nyxara’s events triggering out of order. Now she’s properly ominous and terrifying. (Just a few bugs fixed before deployment)
- Squashed some minor bugs. Left a few to keep you on your toes.
Developer’s Note (Read This or Regret It Later)
Here’s the deal: v.6.0.0 is my magnum opus of chaos, divinity, and player torment. You’re not just exploring a game; you’re unraveling the threads of existence itself. But be warned—cheaters never prosper. Use the Dev Book before the secret boss fight, and you might just wake up to find your save files have… mysteriously disappeared. Also I may have forgot to add to the party count so Lucas may or may not fail to add to the party. Sorry that's an hour of sleep for you.
Thank you for joining me on this wild ride. Your feedback fuels the madness, and I can’t wait to hear your tales of triumph, failure, and piano-induced terror.
Happy Adventuring, You Magnificent Mortals!
With love, chaos, holiday cheer and just a hint of godlike wrath,
~ Ethyrya 💫
