DevLog Update – v0.1f Patch Notes

Hey Resonants!

Here's what's new in version v0.1f of Resonance: Eclipse of Memory, including a new character, quality-of-life changes, secret content, and a heads-up about Chrome:

🔥 NEW: Meet Onyx, the Black Market Dealer

A mysterious figure now stands at the Memory Nexus, guarding secrets and vice.
Dressed in a pinstripe suit and sunglasses, Onyx offers you:

• 🧿 Dev Room Pass – Gain one-time access to the secret Dev Room. (work in progress, had to rush the update)

• 🔥 Vendetta Shard – A high-cost item that unlocks a secret boss battle with Onyx himself.

Bring your best gear. No refunds.

🎨 Visual Updates

• The portal to different areas has been updated to a cyan crystal to better match the world’s aesthetic and vibe.

📘 New Items Added

• Dev Stone – Talk directly to the developer in-game.

• Dev Book – Contains dev/tester cheats.

  Note: Requires a special code to unlock.

• Vendetta Shard – Initiates the secret Onyx boss fight.

🚫 Chrome (Browser) No Longer Supported

Due to a recent graphics driver update, Chrome now blocks WebGL on some systems, whether this affects solely Intel users, is unknown.

This causes the game to crash on launch with a “Failed to Initialize Graphics” error.

✅ WORKING BROWSERS:

• Firefox

• Chrome OS (Chromebooks)

• Basically anything not Chrome (OperaGX maybe? not tested)

We're not changing the game build for now, this issue lies with Chrome’s GPU blocking policies. If you're affected, please switch to Firefox or a similar alternative.
